We want to begin by thanking you for the part you played in to improve our attendance performance last school year!  We are looking to continue to improve our attendance.
1.)  Students who miss 2 or more days of school per month are at risk for being chronically absent according to the state.  Those two days each month add up to missing 20 days over the course of the school year.

2.)  While we know some absences can not be avoided due to illness, appointments, or other unforeseen circumstances, we encourage you to arrange appointment around our breaks as best as possible.

3.) Also, just a reminder, 3 tardies or early checkouts count as one day of being absent.

4.) As some of you may have noticed when dropping your child off or picking him/her up, we have implemented a new process that requires all parents to sign their children into school when they arrive late to school.  So please make sure you are early to school.

5.) Reminder:  Our doors open at 7:15 a.m..  You are considered tardy if you arrive after 8:00 a.m..

6.)  Make sure that if your child is absent that you send an excuse to the school office within 3 days of your child's return to school.

7.)  You are allowed only 3 Parent Notes per semester.  If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to talk to your child's teacher or the school office.

Thank you for your continued support as we continue to reach our attendance goals!
