Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest Winners

Students at SMES created posters to depict their views on various topics discussed during Red Ribbon Week such as drug prevention, making good life choices, and anti-bullying.  From these topics, ideas were sparked and the competition began.  Students in 6th-8th worked together in small groups to create posters focused on drug prevention.  (Back Row) First place was Taylor Jones, Allie Stewart, and Randall Brown; Second place was Kimber Thomas, Makenzie Meeks, and Peyton Meeks; Third place was Destiny Green, Chelsea Smith, and Kailey Grooms.  (Bottom Row) In PreK-2nd Breanna Brown and Brevin Layne tied for 1st place and Duranjaya Davis (in between Breanna and Brevin) got 2nd place.  Their posters focused on friendship and anti-bullying.  In 3rd-5th, Jayden Brown received 1st place.
